Slovenska Plaža, spanning over 1.5 km, is a picturesque beach divided into two distinct sections. The first section, adjacent to the Old Town, boasts a blend of sand and pebbles, while the second, towards the Bečići side, is adorned with fine pebbles. The shoreline offers a gentle entrance to the water, where the seabed is a mix of sandy and stony textures. At a considerable distance from the shore, the depth plunges to 30 meters.
This beach is a magnet for both tourists and locals alike, drawing particularly large crowds due to the plethora of hotels in close proximity. It is a haven for families with young children, ensuring that Slovenska Plaža is always bustling with energy and vibrant activity. However, those in search of tranquility may prefer to find solace at a quieter beach.
Facilities include rental points for sunbeds and umbrellas; during peak season, a set typically ranges from €10 to €15. Amenities such as showers and toilets are available, with fees varying from €0.5 to €1, alongside changing cabins. While visitors can opt to lounge on towels, securing an umbrella is highly recommended.
