Beach description

Slovenska Plaža, spanning over 1.5 km, is a picturesque beach divided into two distinct sections. The first section, adjacent to the Old Town, boasts a blend of sand and pebbles, while the second, towards the Bečići side, is adorned with fine pebbles. The shoreline offers a gentle entrance to the water, where the seabed is a mix of sandy and stony textures. At a considerable distance from the shore, the depth plunges to 30 meters.

This beach is a magnet for both tourists and locals alike, drawing particularly large crowds due to the plethora of hotels in close proximity. It is a haven for families with young children, ensuring that Slovenska Plaža is always bustling with energy and vibrant activity. However, those in search of tranquility may prefer to find solace at a quieter beach.

Facilities include rental points for sunbeds and umbrellas; during peak season, a set typically ranges from €10 to €15. Amenities such as showers and toilets are available, with fees varying from €0.5 to €1, alongside changing cabins. While visitors can opt to lounge on towels, securing an umbrella is highly recommended. The absence of natural shade makes it imperative to protect oneself from the sun's intensity, which can lead to sunburn or heatstroke. Alternatively, beach umbrellas are available for purchase, allowing you to bring your own shade wherever you go.
