Zanjice – the "presidential" beach on the Lustica peninsula, a 10-minute drive from Herceg Novi.

Beach description
The coast and bottom are covered with pebbles, the water in the sea is azure, clean and transparent. Around the beach are numerous olive groves. The president of the former Yugoslavia, Joseph Broz Tito, once chose Zhanitsa as a private beach. Due to the location in the resort, strong and gusty winds do not blow, high waves do not rise.
There is pebble at the bottom, stones and sea urchins are found, so it is recommended to enter the water in special rubber shoes so as not to damage the legs. The infrastructure of the resort is well developed: different cafes, restaurants, bars. Rental service is available, 10 Euro per a sun lounger with an umbrella The lifeguards monitor the safety of the vacationers.
When is it better to go
The high season on the beaches of Montenegro begins in July and lasts until September. During this period, here is settled a dry sunny weather, the air temperature reaches + 30 °C, there is almost no rainfall, the Adriatic warms up to very comfortable + 26 °C. Sea resorts are overcrowded to the limit, there are a lot of people on the beaches, prices for accommodation, products and services are at their maximum.
