Mujeres beach
Mujeres is the largest and most popular of all the beaches of Papagayo. This is one of the largest wild beaches of the southern tip of the island.

Beach description
The beach is a large (400 m) stretch of bright yellow sand, located among the rocks. The wide harbor is well protected from the wind, so there are no strong waves on Mujeres. A sloping entry into the water allows even small children to swim here. It should be borne in mind that on the beach there is absolutely no natural shade. The beach is popular with tourists, so in the season it is quite crowded.
Mujeres is a stretch of coast without infrastructure. There are no additional conditions for relaxing by the water. Everything necessary you have to bring with yourself. There is parking nearby. The hotels closest to the beach are in the resort town of Playa Blanca.
When is it better to go
Lanzarote has the coolest climate in the Canary Archipelago. The island has virtually no vegetation and no natural protection from the winds. In summer, the air temperature rises to +26 °C, water – up to 20 °C.
