Beach description
Playa Blanca is a small (length - 100 m, width - 20m) beach, covered with light sand. There are no strong waves, the entry into the water is smooth and comfortable. This is a popular holiday destination for both the local population and many tourists.
The beach is in the center of the town of the same name. The area closest to the coast, the Old Village, is the historical center of Playa Blanca. That is why nearby you can find several restaurants, shops and hotels. There are no rental umbrellas or sunbeds on the beach, but a shower.
When is it better to go
Lanzarote has the coolest climate in the Canary Archipelago. The island has virtually no vegetation and no natural protection from the winds. In summer, the air temperature rises to +26 °C, water – up to 20 °C.
