Bang Tao beach
Bang Tao is a 7km long beach located on southwestern coast of Phuket Island. Bang Tao is separated by rocks densely overgrown with tropical greenery, in the North, the beach line abuts the green hills.

Beach description
Arcuate coastline is covered with fine white sand. The entrance to the sea is flat, the bottom is clean and sandy. The sea is still. This is the perfect place for holiday with children, however, the beach is almost empty even during the high season. It's relatively lively in the Central and Southern parts of the beach. Here, in the shade of Casuarina groves, are sun beds and umbrellas, cafes, snack bars, and makushitas. Also there is a diving club where divers can order support during the dive and rent equipment. Sometimes animals are brought to the public area for tourists' entertainment.
The rest of the beach is thought to be a part of expensive hotels and elite building, so many tourists don't dare to enter those areas. Separate parts are equipped and comfortable for time spending. There are sunbeds with mats, umbrellas, tents, beach cafes and restaurants. Outsiders are not welcomed.
People can get there by taxi or rented car using GPS. Also, from the nearby islands, run boats.
When is it better to go
The best time for a beach holiday in Phuket lasts from November to April or May. The weather during this period is sunny, calm, the sea is calm, there are almost no waves. The height of the beach season falls on December, when a number of major international holidays are added to water activities. Prices for airline tickets, accommodation, services, food and transportation are at their maximum.
