Panwa beach
Panwa Beach was fortunate enough to avoid the invasion of urbanization. Like many years ago, it serves as a haven of paradise for those who value peace and quiet. Panwa beach is located 8 kilometers east of Phuket, on the west coast of Cape Panwa. It is distinguished by coarse white sand, shallow water and natural canopies created by the crowns of shady trees. You can enjoy views of Chalong Bay and Lone Island from the shore. There is a mangrove swamp at the far western end of the beach.

Beach description
Luxurious villas and apartments occupy almost the entire beach area, there are scattered fishing huts between them. In addition to the facilities reserved for hotel guests (including a fitness club, a playground, a dive center), Panwa has a bar, several restaurants and a shop selling beach accessories. Spending only a few minutes on crossing the bay, you can rent a boat with a long tail and visit the island of Lone.
There is a two-tier observation tower at the nearest village of Khao Khad (whose name is sometimes attributed to the beach). It allows tourists to explore the sights of South Phuket. Eight maps, drawn up in Thai and English help guests identify objects they see. The most interesting thing you can see from here is a statue of the Big Buddha, erected on a hill on the island of Nakkerd. There are ample parking, cafes and shops near the observation deck. South of this place is a small waterfall, a little further - the famous Phuket Aquarium.
When is it better to go
The best time for a beach holiday in Phuket lasts from November to April or May. The weather during this period is sunny, calm, the sea is calm, there are almost no waves. The height of the beach season falls on December, when a number of major international holidays are added to water activities. Prices for airline tickets, accommodation, services, food and transportation are at their maximum.
