Nai Harn beach

The beach strip is about 700 m long and up to 50 m wide, covered with fine fair sand. The sea entrance is gentle, the bottom is sandy. There are no waves during the swiming season, but from Spring to the beginning of Autumn the beach is under monsoons with storms, giant waves and rip streams. Palm trees and casuarinas line the sandy strip. In the Central part are paid sunbeds with umbrellas.

In the palm groove are restaurants, cafes and bars. The beach is quite crowded. Comfortable to stay with children. Gentle decent and warm sea are perfect for a child. Nai Harn is a great place for swimming and calm holiday. Near the cliffs, covering the bay on both sides, located good spots for snorkeling and diving, however masks and other equipment should be brought with. The beach has only kayaks, surfing boards and supsurfing rental agencies. The best time for windsurfing is a low season, when Nai Harn is occupied with powerful winds.

When is it better to go

The best time for a beach holiday in Phuket lasts from November to April or May. The weather during this period is sunny, calm, the sea is calm, there are almost no waves. The height of the beach season falls on December, when a number of major international holidays are added to water activities. Prices for airline tickets, accommodation, services, food and transportation are at their maximum.
