Beach description
At tourist's disposal there is an endless snow-white sandy strip, clear turquoise water and shady jungle. Sai Keo will delight you with a smooth descent into the sea and the opportunity to observe many small fish swimming near the shore.
Take time to explore the outskirts of Sai Kaew. It stretches 2.5 kilometers from the Sarasin Bridge (linking Phuket to mainland Thailand) to Mai Khao Beach. There is no physical border between neighboring beaches.
Not far from Sai Keo the quiet settlement of Thachatchai is sheltered. Here you can inexpensively rent a bungalow, buy products in a store or buy on the mini market, where locals offer freshly caught fish, pineapples and other gifts of tropical nature. In a simple restaurant built of bamboo, you can try Thai delicacies.
When is the best time to go
The best time for a beach holiday in Phuket lasts from November to April or May. The weather during this period is sunny, calm, the sea is calm, there are almost no waves. The height of the beach season falls on December, when a number of major international holidays are added to water activities. Prices for airline tickets, accommodation, services, food and transportation are at their maximum.
