La Datcha beach
De la Datcha is a tiny beach located in the resort town of Le Gosier. It is covered with soft and snow-white sand. It has several bars, a Creole restaurant, parasols, toilets, and cabanas. There is a supermarket, currency exchange, a bank and several hotels next to it.

Visitors of La Datcha enjoy sunbathing and swimming in crystal clear waters. They try local food and beverages on the shore, nap in the palm shadows, play beach football. Picky gourmets visit the nearby town, where sweet-shops, bakeries, cafes, pizzerias, Greek restaurants and wine bars operate. Those who prefer calm atmosphere set up picnics and stroll in local parks.

La Datcha can be reached by bus, car or taxi.
When is the best time to go?
It is best to go to Guadeloupe from December to May, as the weather at this time is set dry and fresher than in other months. However, it should be borne in mind that in December, during the holidays, many tourists arrive to celebrate Christmas and New Year, which affects prices.
