Beach description
This beach has a sandy surface that you can walk on barefoot, as there are almost no shells or stones here. It's very clean (despite the large crowds) and comfortable here. The water is crystal clear and calm, as this part is protected from the ocean by a reef. The weather on the beach is primarily calm as well. The descent is smooth, which is why families with children frequently visit this beach. Sainte-Anne is heaven on Earth for diving and fishing enthusiasts, as there's a reef close to the shore where exotic specimen of local flora and fauna can be encountered.
Sainte-Anne Beach has bars where you can buy a cold beverage and taste the main feature of Guadeloupe - rum. Cafes, shops and a market are located right behind the beach.
When is the best time to go?
It is best to go to Guadeloupe from December to May, as the weather at this time is set dry and fresher than in other months. However, it should be borne in mind that in December, during the holidays, many tourists arrive to celebrate Christmas and New Year, which affects prices.
