The beaches of Kelibia, a small town on the Cape Bon peninsula 120km away from the capital, are located on the north-eastern coast of Tunisia.

Beach description

Covered with fine white sand, the shore is divided into two uneven parts by a cape protruding in the sea. Most of the area is called the Plage de La Mansourah, the smaller plot is the Plage du Petit Paris.

The entry to the sea is gentle, with long strip of shallow waters, the bottom is sandy. Sometimes you come across rock formations. Waves are of medium hight. It's often windy, which attracts surfers to Kelibia.

It's mainly locals who stay on the beaches of Kelibia. There is no infrastructure, including sun loungers with umbrellas and equipment rental centers for water activities. The guests have only a small bar at their disposal. You can go water skiing, surf, but the possibilities for holidaymakers end here.

Going to the beaches of Kelibia with kids is not a good idea. The trip will take a lot of time and effort. You can get to Kelibia by bus or shuttle bus from the capital.
