Nabeul beach

The beach of Nabeul, Tunisia's oldest resort, is located on the Cape Bon peninsula on the north coast of the country.

Beach description

The coastline is covered with clean fine sand of a creamy hue. The sea is clean and calm. The descent into the water is long and gentle, the bottom is sandy.

The beach infrastructure is not as luxurious as in Hammamet and Sousse. There are no mattresses on the sun loungers, tables in the cafe are not covered with tablecloths.

The beach is not crowded. The locals prefer to stay there. Among the small number of tourists you can find economical French, Germans, Englishmen.

Nabeul is a perfect option for a budget holiday. There are several cheap hotels in the beach area where you can stay with the whole family.

There are several interesting sights in the city. Among them:

  • an archaeological park with beautiful ancient ruins,
  • ceramic amphora with a living tree near the station,
  • huge ceramic bowl with oranges in center of Nabeul.

You can get to Nabeul by bus or shuttle bus from Tunisia.
