Dexa beach

The beach is surrounded by an olive grove, which gives a life-saving shade and attracts you to lounge in a hammock in the shade of sprawling trees. Thanks to this, you can spend the whole day on the beach without risking sunburn in the hot Mediterranean sun.
Dexa is ideal for vacation with kids - the entrance to the water is gentle and safe, and the sea, as usual, is always warm and calm. People with disabilities were also taken care of on the beach - the beach is equipped with ramps and comfortable lanes for wheelchair users.
History lovers will be able to combine a beach vacation with a fascinating walk through the places associated with legendary Odyssey. According to legend, the famous king of Ithaca stayed here many times after his military expeditions, as evidenced by numerous artifacts found in the surroundings of Vathy.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
