La Ropa Beach
Playa La Ropa (literally - Beach "Clothing") is located on the Pacific coastline of Mexico in the city of Zihuatanejo. At this place, the ocean creates a large natural bay, protected from large waves and sudden winds by cape. Due to this, a wide strip of snow-white sand formed in the depths of the bay on its eastern side.

Beach description
The beach itself is quite long - it starts in the city and continues to the southeast for almost two kilometers. In the central part of the beach numerous hotels in the resort area of the city, which bears the same name, are adjacent to it. Almost all hotels have three or four stars.
The sand on the beach is different. Closer to the sea it is finer and much whiter. At some distance, it becomes more reddish and noticeably coarser. Almost immediately after the beach hills rise on the south side, which are made of rocks.
Due to the location in the bay, on the beach and throughout the resort there is mostly calm weather, which is why active leisure options are not very popular on the beach. Thanks to the warm and shallow sea, the resort is gradually taking the palm from neighboring Acapulco.
When is the best time to go?
From May to October, heavy rains and tornadoes are usually played off the Mexican coasts. So the best time to visit the country is from November to March. However, it should be mindful of that prices in the high season are higher than usual.
