Xpu-Ha Beach
Xpu Ha Beach is a heavenly spot in a cozy bay of the Mayan Riviera, which resembles a picture from a Bounty advertisement and pictures from the beaches of the beautiful Maldives at the same time. The name of this beach is pronounced as “Shpu-ha”.

Beach description
The beach is located 25 km south from Playa Del Carmen. It is possible to get to Xpu Ha Beach by bus or car, which it is possibl to rent. The beach is conditionally divided into two parts:
- The active part of the rest is concentrated on one half: kayaks, water skiing, beach volleyball, football, etc. In the same part there are all the bars and restaurants;
- The second part of the beach is relaxation and solitude, it is quiet and calm on this half of Xpu Ha Beach.
The beach has a sandy coating of unusual white and pink color. Entry into the water is sloping, sandy, but here and there there are small corals and algae. The colour of the ocean is turquoise with a blue hue, merges into an endless abyss with the sky on the horizon.
Xpu Ha Beach is not very crowded on weekdays, there are a lot of vacationers on weekends.
When is the best time to go?
From May to October, heavy rains and tornadoes are usually played off the Mexican coasts. So the best time to visit the country is from November to March. However, it should be mindful of that prices in the high season are higher than usual.

Infrastructure
Xpu Ha Beach is not overfull with shops and restaurants. In beach cafes seafood and Mexican dishes are cooked, and drinks are served directly to the loungers. Cafes and restaurants on Xpu Ha Beach are decorated interestingly, here it is possible to ride on a swing or lie in a hammock. On the beach territory there is a rental of equipment for snorkelling, kayaking, scuba diving. Chairs, sunbeds and parasols are also being rented.
Near the beach there is the best hotel on the coastline Catalonia Royal Tulum with excellent service, restaurant and animation.
