Zipolite Beach
Zipolite is an excellent sandy beach, up to one and a half km long. The vast territory begins near Puerto Angel (3 km). It is quite problematic to get to the beach - walking along a winding mountain road in the form of a serpentine, or by taxi, but in the company of an unlimited number of passengers. The beach is a favorite place of various birds, especially pelicans.

Zipolite is a beach for a rather extraordinary audience, people, who lead an extravagant lifestyle: nudists, hippies, countercultural youth. It is a great vacation spot for them. A more conservative public is likely to look for another beach. Zipolite is quite deserted due to its inaccessibility, which will be an advantage for tourists, who want solitude in the wild nature.
Waves and currents are quite strong and often change direction, which makes swimming much difficult - a large number of red flags on the coastline testify of it. Therefore, a whole team of rescuers is on duty on the beach.
When is the best time to go?
From May to October, heavy rains and tornadoes are usually played off the Mexican coasts. So the best time to visit the country is from November to March. However, it should be mindful of that prices in the high season are higher than usual.
