Red Frog beach
Red Frog is one of the best beaches on the island of Bastimentos. It allows tourists to explore the tropical Panamanian forest and their many inhabitants in a natural habitat, as well as relax on the coast.

Beach description
Red Frog beach means soft white sand, tropical bright greenery and clear turquoise water. The beach here is wide and long. The beach and the seabed near it are covered with light sand, sometimes stones are found in the water. A feature of Red Frog Beach is the large waves. The beach is popular among surfers, it is not suitable for swimming for small children.
The beach is well equipped, entrance is not free. There are sun loungers and parasols, there is a bar on the beach. There are several hotels near the beach, most of them are luxury.
When is the best time to go
Favorable time for a beach holiday in Panama begins in the second half of December and lasts until April. Air temperature during this period does not exceed + 32 °C, water temperature – not lower than + 23 °C. It is noteworthy that in the Caribbean Sea the water is several degrees warmer than on the Pacific coast.
