Beach description

You can get to Alonaki fanariou only by car or taxi, for no buses come here. You will have to drive down the earth-road through the forest. This beach also cannot called equipped: you will have to take care of all facilities, even the basic ones. Although, Alonaki Fanariou still has something special: fascinating views. light sand is surrounded with rocks covered with plants and underwood, and magnificent boulders rise from under aquamarine waters.

The beach suits adults and the youth more than families with kids due to not the most comfortable conditions for the latter: There is no shallow area, and the bottom is rocky, so the water entry is recommended with the special shoes on, for safety. Concerning all the rest, Alonaki Fanariou is a paradise hidden in Hellas woods, primaeval and virgin.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
