Kanali beach
This beach is considered to be one of the longest in Greece. Its length is almost 13 km! You will definitely need more than one to explore every corner of it and... a bar. Yes, yes, this is exactly the place where party-goers and just fun people will not be bored.

Beach description
The beach is located near Kanali, in the middle of the bay, 10 km from Perveza. Due to its length, the beach has several names depending on:
- the name of the village, closest to a specific part of the beach;
- the name of the beach bars, which is located on it.
Therefore, separate parts of Kanali Beach are called Kanali, Monoliti, Castrosikia, Miticas, etc.
The beach is wide and sandy, but there are also areas with stones in the water, so before you enter the water, explore the shore until you find a suitable place with a rather flat bottom. Shallow waters are not far away - the depth starts just a few meters from the shore. In the afternoon, the waves prevail here.
A lot of people visit it, however, due to its length and width it is never crowded. The majority of vacationers are young people.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

Infrastructure
The beach is well arranged. It has umbrellas and sunbeds which can be taken for free when ordering a drink at a local cafe. There are showers, changing rooms, beach bars with toilets, ample parking space.
There are restaurants on the beach, and the most popular hotel is Kanali Hotel. It has a mini water park where children can have fun. There are several pools and water slides. It is ideal for young children.
A ticket to the water park costs from 5 to 8 euros. For young children there are pools 0.6 m deep. There is a swimming pool with a depth of 1 m to 2 m for adults.
Many bars are simultaneously open-air clubs where famous DJs come. Young people love this beach for their loud music and lively atmosphere.

- If you are looking for a quieter place, head to the far side of the beach in the direction of Preveza, below the city of Miticas. There is a very dense eucalyptus forest, which creates a natural shadow with the crowns of trees. Here you can relax without loud music and active youth.
- Immediately after the end of the long beach there is a cape, above which the village of Miticas is located. Behind the cape there is the small beach of Faros, with dark sand and a high cliff above it. Here you can make unusual and interesting photos.
