Krioneri beach
Krioneri Beach is located in the central part of Parga on the Ionian coast of Greece. One of the main highways leads to it. Krioneri provides an opportunity to combine measured relaxation on the beach with the pleasures of a big city: shopping and sightseeing.

Beach description
The beach has a shape of a nice curve, with a cypress grove growing at one of the edges. Beige beach sand is fine and powder-like, you don't need shoes to walk on the sea bottom. Water entry is smooth, with the rather sharp depth increase. Although the size of Krioneri is smaller than that of the neighboring valtos but it is no less famous, so you can find crowds here even on September weekend. Fortunately, the beach has all the facilities, so even the most hard to please tourists will be satisfied.

On the beach territory and near it, you will find cafes and restaurants, and stores and supermarkets are located nearby. Guests also have enough accommodation options: there are both hostels and luxury hotels available. If you dream of a motor rally over the beach, address the car rent station. On Krioneri, you will enjoy bright sun with all the blessings of civilization close by.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
