Lagada beach
Lagada is a pebble beach located at the foot of the Kitira rocky ridge. It is equipped with comfortable sun loungers, sun umbrellas, toilets, showers and changing rooms. There is also a small restaurant where Greek and Continental cuisine is prepared. When visiting this place, be sure to try the fish - its taste cannot be confused with anything.

The beach combines a clear sea of bright blue color, magnificent mountains, covered with grass carpet and mysterious grottoes in remote areas of the beachline. Climbing the local peaks, you will see the neighboring islands, forests of Hellas, picturesque villages. In addition to natural beauties, the beach is famous for its clean air, plenty of birds and fish, impeccable criminal environment.
People come here to spend time in the bosom of wildlife, enjoy tropical cocktails and singing seagulls, plunge into clean and crystal clear water. There are hardly any dangerous objects on the surface of Lagada. However, it is recommended to wear slippers to ensure 100% safety of the feet. As for order, the beach is cleaned daily. Its purity and grooming were awarded the Blue Flag.
You can get to Lagada by a private transport or taxi. The early morning is the best time to visit the beach. During this period you can enjoy the soft sun and admire the sunrise.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
