Delfini beach

Delfini is a small but well-organized sand and pebble beach located on the west coast of the Gulf of Parikia. Its official name - Souflia - is formed on behalf of the bay, and “Delfini” is called by local residents because of the popular beach bar-restaurant located on its territory.

Beach description

Delfini beach zone is a 150-m long coastal line from where you can see the beautiful bay and the resort Parasporos. The sea in the beach area is clear, of emerald shade, and due to gradual depth increase and soft tide, it is perfect for elderly beachgoers and families with kids.

For the visitors' comfort, the beach zone is equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas; the restaurant clients can use them for free. Trees growing on the beach provide the natural shadow which will be appreciated by guests who enjoy lying on their towels.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
