Marcello beach

Marcello is a long beach that is the continuation of another popular beach, Kryos. Its surface is covered with light sand, the sea in the nearshore zone is clear, shallow and quiet, and with the sand-bed. The beach itself is well-protected from north wind. Smooth water entry with gradual depth increase provides comfortable conditions for swimming.

In the high season, the territory of marcello is very well equipped, and for the rest of time, the beach is wild. It is mostly viisted by youth. For comfort pastime, the territory of Marcello has changing cabins, sun umbrellas and sling chairs, it has bars, a volley-ball site and a free parking lot. Staying on the beach, visitors can enjoy beautiful views, spend time actively, swim and take sun baths.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
