Livadia is one of the greenest Greek beaches. Trees with luxuriant foliage grow along its territory. Just 20 m away from the beach, cozy garden squares are laid out where you can hide from summer heat and have a picnic with your closest friends.
In the center of Livadia, there is situated a small but very beautiful wooden pier. From its territory, the magnificent view of a large bay with colorful houses, neat beaches, splendid ships, and thick forest opens. Coast waters are shallow, 100% transparent, and have soft light blue color. Absence of waves and smooth depth increase are typical for them. The beach is covered with soft sand, and visitors walk here in bare feet.
The territory of Livadia is cleaned twice a day. Providing perfect order and the absence of sharp objects on the ground surface. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

But you need to consider that in July and August the beach is often crowded and becomes too noisy. Best time to visit: end of May and June.
