Hydroneta beach
Located in the western part of the island of Hydra within walking distance from the port of the same name. It differs from beaches in the usual sense of the word, as it is a sheer cliff, which houses bars, restaurants and beach loungers under awnings. A stone staircase leads down from them, along which you can go down to the amazingly blue, transparent sea and rocky shore.

Beach description
There's also something for thrill-seekers here – those who like to dive from the cliffs are unlikely to find a better place on the island than this. Families with children, elderly couples and those who appreciate a quiet, secluded holiday should go a little further along the sea and stay on a different beach, but the youth will love it here. Hydroneta is particularly impressive in the sunset when you can see a stunning view of the sea, the port and the ships sailing by from a cliff. That's why couples in love often choose this place for romantic dates and wedding ceremonies.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
