Beach description

this place has the following advantages:

  1. large beach covered by white sand and small pebbles;
  2. clean terrain (municipal services regularly clean the coast);
  3. dense forest, successfully replacing sun umbrellas and picnic zone;
  4. rich water area - pikes, perches and roaches live here;
  5. beautiful landscapes - a wonderful view of forests, green glades, sloping hills opens from the local shore.

Petersburg Seychelles is characterized by a shallow depth (up to 4 meters) and a smooth entry into the water. In weekends there are hundreds of people. 90% - residents of St. Petersburg and other cities of Leningrad region. Despite the popularity of the beach, there are many secluded places for privacy in a friendly company.

Interesting fact: Dontso Lake was formed during the production of drywall - the basis for the manufacture of cement. Initially, a quarry was dug here in which valuable material was mined. After some time, it was filled with water from underground sources.

It is recommended to get to St. Petersburg Seychelles only by personal transport. Buses rarely run and often break the schedule.

When is better to go?

The Baltic coast is not the warmest place with respect to air temperature or water temperature. However, from July to September, the warmest and most comfortable period in the Baltic comes: fifteen degrees Celsius will be a stable mark. But remember that in late spring - early summer, the Baltic Sea may “bloom” due to the abundance of plankton: water becomes cloudy and saturated green. During this period, swimming will be unsafe and rather unpleasant.
