Komarovo beach
Komarovo is a large beach (more than 1 km in length) located in the Resort area of St. Petersburg. It is covered by soft sand and equiped with all the necessary infrastructure. Including changing cabins, sports grounds, playgrounds for children, showers, armchairs and sun umbrellas. But not everything is so good with water - Rospotrebnadzor periodically prohibits swimming in the local sea.

Komarovo Beach is perfectly suitable for sunbathing, walking, vacation with pets (in the presence a muzzle). People play volleyball, badminton, football and other games here. Not far from here cafe with wide choice of dishes and drinks operates.
In weekends from a few hundred to several thousand people gather here. On weekdays, this place remains half empty.
The coastline of the beach is free of litter and small architectural forms. On its surface there are just large stones and "sand seam" met. 3 meters from the water the forest begins. Komarovo is perfectly suitable for vacation with children, due to the swings, trampoline, aviary with animals and mini-slides. Also, adults who want to relax in the fresh air will like it here.
When is better to go?
The Baltic coast is not the warmest place with respect to air temperature or water temperature. However, from July to September, the warmest and most comfortable period in the Baltic comes: fifteen degrees Celsius will be a stable mark. But remember that in late spring - early summer, the Baltic Sea may “bloom” due to the abundance of plankton: water becomes cloudy and saturated green. During this period, swimming will be unsafe and rather unpleasant.
