Can Picafort beach
Can Picafort Beach in Alcudia Bay in the north part of Mallorca in the municipal district Santa Marguelida, 60 km away from Palma de Mallorca, on the territory of a popular same-name resort that appeared in the second half of the 20th century on a place of a small fishing village. The picturesque shore atracts numerous tourists with cleanliness of its beaches, richness and versatility of water games, easy access to hotels, numerous monuments of old spanish architecture.

Beach description
Can Picafort, edging Alcudia Bay, is almost entirely covered with white fine-grained sand and has rocky surface only in the southern part. Clear transparent water cannot hide the even sand bottom. The picturesque cape of Port Espoirtiu divides the beach 1.3 km long and 30 m wide into two parts, one stretching to the north from Alcudia, and another going under the shade of a pine forest. Behind the beach, there is situated a picturesque quay with a wide promenade that has many fashionable restaurants, bars, clubs, and discos.
