Sant Joan beach

The beach of San Juan is located between two small capes in the north of Mallorca. A crescent-shaped shore for relaxation opens up a fairly wide spit 60 meters long. It is located on the very outskirts of a local village and is surrounded by small hills that allow you to be surrounded by nature. You need to get to the beach from local hotels on foot. There is also no dedicated parking nearby.

Beach description

The beach is great for relaxing in the sun or relaxing with your family and children. Although many people can be scared away by a relatively large number of seaweed in shallow water.   Some distance from the main building maintains a natural look. And even despite its small size, it is usually not crowded.

A strip of imported white sand smoothly turns into pebbles. This is an interesting feature of this beach. Before you go to the beach of San Juan, it is better to check the weather forecast and look at the water surface.   If waves rise, they will certainly reach this beach. The water will be muddy, and jellyfish will also appear. The appropriate flag on the lifeguard tower will warn you about this.

When is the best time to go?

The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
