Sant Elm beach
Sant Elm is a small picturesque beach on the west coast of the island, located in a small Sant Elm resort about 8 km from the city of Andratx. It got its name from the Church of Sant Elm, patron of seafarers. The Church was built in 1279 by Jaume II, King of Spain. Despite its small size, the beach, which has the Blue flag award, is considered a very important tourist destination of the municipality.

Beach description
Sant Elm is divided into two uneven areas. The first one, which occupies the majority of the territory, is covered in soft white sand. The second, smaller one is a pebbly beach.
Features:
- The beach is 130 m long.
- Its width is about 30 m.
- The descent is smooth.
- The sea bottom is covered in sand mixed with stones.
- The wave height is average.

- parking lot.
Rescue workers guarantee the safety of the beach's visitors.
Two islands - Es Pantaleu, which only experienced swimmers can get to, and Sa Dragonera, which is a natural park - can be seen from the beach.
The majority of tourists are families from Germany, the UK and France. Not a lot of Russian tourists come here.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
