Beach description
Scenic views of the Tramuntana mountains open from anywhere on the beach. This is the large sandy beach in the form of a horseshoe with a length of 1.5 km, the average width is 40 meters. Everything is provided for a comfortable and safe rest: rental of sun loungers and umbrellas, toilets and showers, as well as lifeguard towers. Banana boats and pedalos can be rented. There is free parking behind the beach, and right on the sand border there are several bars and restaurants.
This beach is ideal for families with children due to its shallow water. Even in windy weather, this beach is protected from the waves by two capes that span the harbor. But this does not prevent enthusiasts from having a great time here. If this is your first time arriving in Port de Pollenca, you can take memorable photos on Cap de Formentor next to the lighthouse. Indigenous people call it the 'meeting place of the four winds.' The most affordable way to the beach from other points on the island is by bus.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
