Beach description
The beaches of Cayo Blanco are covered with fine white sand mixed with fragments of shells and corals, so you should bring special shoes with you. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy, the water is calm. The island has a rather meager beach infrastructure. The beaches are groomed, but quite a lot of tourists. It will be uncomfortable to relax with children here, but Cayo Blanco is especially attractive for young people. Along the beaches runs a coral reef with dive spots. You can go snorkeling, scuba diving or diving, as well as go on a boat trip on a boat with a transparent bottom.
Near the island there is a dolphinarium, which can be reached as part of a group sea safari by boat or catamaran. The price of the tour includes drinks and snacks, as well as a visit to the dolphinarium. Bathing and photo shoots with marine mammals are paid separately.
When is it better to go
The most favorable time for a vacation in Cuba is the period from November to April, when the air temperature reaches + 26 °C, water – up to + 25-28 °C. The sea is calm, the probability of hurricanes is minimal.
