Playa Blanca - a beach on the shores of the resort of the same name in the province of Holguin, 57 km from the international airport.

Beach description
A small beach is covered with clean, light sand. The descent into the sea is flat, the bottom is sandy. The sea is calm. A coral reef is near the coast. There are beach equipment rental shops, cafes and eateries. You can go snorkeling, diving, scuba diving or ride a horse on the beach. Usually crowded on the shore, among the vacationers there are many Cubans. The beach is especially popular with families with children.
The resort has excursion bureaus that organize excursions to different regions of the province. There is an opportunity to visit Holguin, Baia de Naranjo Natural Park, the city of Gibara, where the International Poor Cinema Festival is held annually, as well as Pinares de Mayari National Park.
When is it better to go
The most favorable time for a vacation in Cuba is the period from November to April, when the air temperature reaches + 26 °C, water – up to + 25-28 °C. The sea is calm, the probability of hurricanes is minimal.
