Giron beach

Chiron beach is covered with fine white sand. The descent into the water is gentle, the bottom is sandy, without sharp drops in depth. The sea remains calm thanks to an abandoned dam that separates the waters of the bay from the open sea. Many coconut palms grow on the shore, providing a light diffused shadow.

The infrastructure is poor, so it is advisable to bring a beach umbrella, rug, food and drinks. Nearby is the Sienaga de Salata Biosphere Park, teeming with lush tropical vegetation. Chiron is semi-desert. Here you can meet a few tourists and local residents. An ideal place for lovers of privacy and tranquility. There are several budget hotels near the beach.

The beach is suitable for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, diving and snorkeling. It is better to carry equipment with you. It’s good to relax with children. Little ones can be given the first swimming lessons, older children can be ordained into the sacrament of the underwater world with scuba gear and a mask.
