Esmeralda beach
Esmeralda is a well-maintained beach on the shore of the resort of the same name, 5 km from the resort village of Guardalavaca.

Beach description
The beach is about a kilometer long covered in white sand. The entry into the water is sloping, the bottom is sandy. The sea is calm thanks to the coral reef, located near the coast. The beach has excellent infrastructure and a variety of recreation. Elements of local infrastructure:
- rental points for sun loungers, umbrellas and water equipment;
- restaurants, cafes, bars and shops;
- sports and playgrounds;
- club riding;
- rides.
Esmeralda Beach has the opportunity to go diving, snorkeling, snorkeling and windsurfing. You can also go jet skiing, catamarans and water skiing. You can safely take children of any age with you. The beach is crowded, but you can always find free places. Among vacationers there are many Cubans and tourists.
Not far from Esmeralda beach are caves and waterfalls. You can swim with dolphins in the bay of Baia de Naranjo or go to the healing mud springs.
When is it better to go
The most favorable time for a vacation in Cuba is the period from November to April, when the air temperature reaches + 26 °C, water – up to + 25-28 °C. The sea is calm, the probability of hurricanes is minimal.
