Maria La Gorda beach

The beach is located in a large bay, so there are no strong waves here. The coast of Playa Maria La Gorda is covered with snow-white sand and the water is very smooth and safe. The ocean is clear and transparent, with tides. Palm trees grow on the shore, creating a natural shade. This is a secluded beach that is very popular with divers. There are excellent conditions for diving, the underwater world is extremely rich and diverse.

The beach is located on the southern coast of Cuba, next to the hotel of the same name. Other options can be found in the nearest major city - Pinar del Río. There's a restaurant and a boathouse on the beach. You can rent diving equipment, sun loungers and umbrellas.

The main attraction of this region of Cuba is the pristine nature on land and in the ocean. Nearby there are very beautiful places for walking and underwater excursions.

The most favorable time for a vacation in Cuba is the period from November to April, when the air temperature reaches + 26 °C, water – up to + 25-28 °C. The sea is calm, the probability of hurricanes is minimal.
