Canggu beach
Canggu Beach is a long strip of grey and black sand along a small Canggu Village on the South of Bali. 8 km of volcanic sands are occupied by flowing one into another beach areas. Some of them have been occupied by surfers long ago, other beaches are more suitable for swimming and calm rest.

The shore is bounded by Indian Ocean, where youth all over the world come to catch the wave. Other part of the shore is decorated with picturesque untouched landscape and rice plantations. Canggu is a real paradise for surfers, and also a great place for yogis and gourmets. Fans of active pastime, romantics, freelancers of all stripes will find here a perfect vacation and life organization.
Here virgin nature miraculously coexists with the gifts of civilization. Once unassuming village is gradually becoming the Balinese equivalent of Brooklyn. Local residents are mixed with numerous expats who keep hotels, cafes, restaurants, entertaining and cultural areas.
According to CNN, Canggu is included in 100 world's best beaches list, because it's a perfect place for learning how to surf, what most of the visitors do. There are areas for beginners to safely work out their techniques.
Swimming is mostly impossible because of the frequent waves. Out of season, when the river rubbish drain to the ocean, the shore is covered with unpleasant fragments of wood and plastic. That's why this is an inappropriate place for children.

When is it better to go?
The air temperature throughout the year differs little and keeps within + 28-30 degrees. In the evening and at night, it is slightly cooler, but the thermometer rarely falls below +23 degrees. The water temperature is also stable. In order to avoid the rainy season (months from December to March), it is better to visit the country from May to August.

Canggu has everything for sports, relaxation, shopping, interesting nightlife. Most hotels located right near the beach.
Sporty youth rent cheap rooms in hostels, guesthouses, older generations prefer hotels and cottages with all facilities, thoughtful design and exquisite furniture. Single IT-specialists, whole groups of vacationers and simultaneously working tourists occupy villas-resorts equipped with the latest coworking centers.
Not far from the main road, beaches and bars lay cozy Calmtree Bungalows. Shops and market are on the walking distance. Inside the traditional bamboo bungalows is neat, small territory around sink in the greenery. There is a pool. Toilets and showers are outside, and through the open roof guests can see bananas hanging over their heads. In the morning, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with several options to choose from. Stuff, atmosphere, massage promotes a relaxed, peaceful rest.
Inhabitants of the village move by scooters, rented in the hotel or from neighbours. Streets are not crowded, along the road there are a lot of cafes with healthy food, shops, yoga studios and spas.
Tourists shore camp with mowed loan allows to relax on the sunbed with some cocktails, try seafood under restaurant's thatched roof, spend an evening in the club with incendiary music.
Unlike luxurious shops in other cities, Canggu shops mostly offer spots clothes, simple clothes for children and women, made from linen and cotton. Here tourists can find exquisite ceramics, elegant bed linen with embroidery, handmade jewelry, mainly gold.
One of the most popular places on Bali, equestrian center Canggu Beach, offers activities both for children and adults.
