Beach description

Jungutbatu is a favorite place of those who love tropical resorts. Snow white sand, calm water and lack of waves turned this place into calm and beautiful area for family recreation and comfortable swimming. Indian ocean in this part of an island is calm thanks to the reef, which doesn't allow high waves on this beach. But outside the reef, 500 m from the shore, tourists can surf, snorkel or dive. The peculiarity of this beach are the remains of corals, which lie at the entrance to the water, so special shoes are recommended to protect the feet from cuts.

Sometimes Jungubatu remains a bay, because locals often leave their boats along the shore, adding a special colour to the beach. The beach is full of bars, cafes and restaurants, which offer to try national food and drinks. Also Jungubatu is one of the few beaches near which there is a huge selection of hotels and apartments.
