Tegal Wangi beach
Tegal Wangi is a hidden, unorganized beach that is popular with locals. It is located on the south coast of Bali, in the Uluwatu region. The beach got its name in honor of the temple standing on the top of the hill. The beach is a small sandy area, about 250 m long, surrounded by rock formations, overgrown with tropical greenery. Due to the heavy traffic on the road, it is most convenient to get to the beach on a motorcycle or moped.

Beach description
Strong surf, rocky bottom and underwater currents make swimming in the sea near Tegal Vanga unsafe, but during low tide, natural pools are formed on the beach, like a jacuzzi, protected from waves by a stone wall, which makes them convenient for swimming. On the beach there are caves that can be explored, and several places suitable for jumping from rocks.
To the left of Tegal Vangi is a parking lot, the entrance to it is free. The beach offers beautiful views of the Indian Ocean and the sunset, so it is often used as a location for wedding photo shoots. In addition, pure white sand makes it pleasant for sunbathing. You can hide from the scorching sun under the rocks.
When is it better to go?
