Sanur beach
Sanur Beach is the best beach on Bali for families with children. It's located in the East of Bali and is considered to be the most quite place, comparing with other beaches in Indonesia. This is the great alternative for those who prefer a serene relaxing pastime, and instead of a picturesque sunset chooses an excellent dawn.

Here ocean waters are in the calmest state, there are no big waves, and the access to the water is very convenient with a gentle downhill, so the place is absolutely safe for children to swim. Children find it funny to watch the water at a low tide, they can catch it up running on the soft sand, or wait for the inflow to look at the starfish washed up on the shore. Apart from children and family couples, there are a lot of older people, who are attracted by local relaxed atmosphere. They will appreciate the outdoor areas with live music and sincere conversations with a glass of good wine in the evenings.
The coastal zone is protected by several reefs along the shore, so the water remains warm and shallow in a distance. Golden sand covers the beach, although its northern part acquires black shades due to local volcanic rocks. It's easy to get to the beach from the city center by taxi or it's also possible to rent a car or scooter. Other resorts and the international airport (just 20 minutes away) can be reached by bus.
When is it better to go?
The air temperature throughout the year differs little and keeps within + 28-30 degrees. In the evening and at night, it is slightly cooler, but the thermometer rarely falls below +23 degrees. The water temperature is also stable. In order to avoid the rainy season (months from December to March), it is better to visit the country from May to August.
