Beach description
In the literal translation from Balinese, this place sounds like a “broken beach”, which corresponds to reality: Pasih Uug is a large natural pool created by a partially collapsed limestone hill hundreds of thousands of years ago. The whole beauty of this place lies precisely in the fact that the rock did not collapse completely, but in the form of an arch, whose height is 98 m. Despite the fact that Indonesia has a huge selection of beaches, Pasih Uug is now one of the main tourist attractions for foreigners around the world. This beach is also recognized as one of the most unique works of natural art. And in the blue crystal clear water you can see sea turtles and stingrays that are completely not afraid of people.
It is interesting that Pasih Uug is not chosen for swimming and sunbathing, but for exotic snorkeling and beautiful photos. The best time to visit the beach is from March to June, during which sunny and dry weather prevails. There is no infrastructure at Easter, so it is worth taking water and food with you, and it is most convenient to get to the beach on a motorcycle. It is also recommended to adhere to the time frame and visit the beach from 6.00 to 18.00.
When is it better to go?
The air temperature throughout the year differs little and keeps within + 28-30 degrees. In the evening and at night, it is slightly cooler, but the thermometer rarely falls below +23 degrees. The water temperature is also stable. In order to avoid the rainy season (months from December to March), it is better to visit the country from May to August.
