Marmari beach
The resort area is located on the northern coast of Kos. This is 15 kilometers from the capital city of the island to it, so it will take about 40 minutes. Holidaymakers come here to rest on the beautiful sandy beach, where various water activities are offered. It is also famous for being one of the best-surfing stations on Kos.

A Wide sand-covered beach strip stretches along the shore for 2 kilometers.

- It is windy on the shore that surfers like. But the surf school, where you learn to ride on the wave board, works in a high season- from May to October.
- Civility beach provides equipment in the form of cabin for dressing, sun beds, umbrellas, showers. Alas, but toilets are not always cleaned here.
- The Sea is pure, but the wind still drives seaweed into it on other days.
- the water inlet is good, the depth starts at a sufficient distance from the shore.
Always fresh wind allows you to avoid the heat even at noon on the beach. If the sun still does bake strongly, you can escape from it in the shade under the large larch. Well-warmed water allows you to swim in the autumn.
There is also a "wild" part of the beach, a little away from Marmari, where the nudists love to rest.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

There is also a tavern with a large selection of dishes, located on the beach. So no one will go away while being hungry. Sometimes a local fruit machine arrives at Marmari, but delicious peaches, plums, bananas, and cherries are expensive.

- Marmari is comfortable for children. The beach is not crowded. Wind rarely blows. A peaceful sea is good for swimming.
- Nearby there is an equestrian club offering walks for tourists along the edge of the surf.
- In the village of Marmari, there is not much entertainment. But it is easy to get from it to the village of Pili in the mountains (4 kilometers south of the village) and the nearest resort of Tigaki.
