Beach description
The beach is located 6 km southwest of the city of Khos. There are no buses here, so you can get only in private - by taxi or rented car. It will be necessary to drive another 6 kilometers from Kefalos (the nearest village) on an asphalt road. The reference point is the pointer to the left "Magic Beach". Riding near the restaurant, turn to the left. Here you will see a parking place where you can leave the car for rest, and a kiosk. That is the destination point. Here you can rent a chair lounge or umbrella, and, as an option, abandoning and from these benefits of civilization, simply throw your cover on a warm sandbox and enjoy primitive landscapes.
the beach is long, sandy, with clean and warm water. There is also few people there. This can be understood by the arrangement of the sun beds in one line. It is better for the party persons to search for other beaches for fun. Endless expanses are more available for relax and meditation, and incredibly fresh air (thanks to a line of conifers behind the beach) to a strong and serene dream.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
