Tigaki beach

Beach description
Thigaki was repeatedly marked with a blue flag, which indicates its cleanliness and well-being. Another plus of Tigaki beach is the scarcity of people. However, this fact is explained by not low popularity, but considerable length of the beach. This allows vacationers to feel free and spacious to stay even at the peak of the season.
It Is 15 kilometers from the airport and 11 kilometers from the capital of the island. You can reach by bus, cost 2 euros, taxi or rented car. You can also take a motorcycle in the arena, but the road to Tigaki is mountainous, with uneven ground and stones, so if you are not an extreme driving lover, it is better to choose the transport already with the driver.
AND if you are still extreme, it is better to try driving not by driving a car on a dangerous road, but on the sea, conquering unrestrained waves. For the beach you will find surf schools and surf gear rental points. It is convenient to learn surfing on this beach, because the bottom is not deep and not stony, and therefore the first drops will be rather "soft" and shallow.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
