Bang Kao beach

On the shore along the entire length of the beach (about 6 km) there are dense palm groves, in the shade of which visitors can sit comfortably. Thin line near the water is covered with fine sand. The entrance to the water is gentle, and the bottom is sandy and stony. It's better to enter the sea in special shoes, because at the bottom there are many unpleasant surprises from sharp stones and shells to sea urchins. The sea is calm, without waves, however it's almost impossible to swim, as to a deep place it is necessary to go for a long time on an uneven stony-muddy bottom.

The beach is deserted. Here people can sunbathe, walk along the shore and have a long rest under the palm shades. Also it's recommended to take hammock or sunbed, food and drinks. It is better not to take children, it will be difficult to come up with entertainment for them. The territory of Bang Kao is not supervised. There is no rental of sun beds with umbrellas, as well as showers and restaurants. Clean and equipped parts of the beach are owned by several hotels located along the shore.

When is it better to go

The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
