Thong Takian beach

Thong Takian is located at the foot of steep hills, on the slopes of which there are many hotels. Hotel stuff take care about shore line, regularly clean the territory of the beach and coastal waters. Thing Takian is covered with fine light sand, the entrance to the water is flat, the bottom is sandy. Large boulders are scattered in places in the water and on the beach. The sea is calm, the water is clear. The depth is felt at 100 m from the shore. Visitors can walk barefoot on the beach and in the water. Suitable for small children. At the edges of the rocks, the bottom is more relief. Sharp stones often come across, so beach shoes are needed.

On the shore there are a lot of spreading trees, under the shades of which is very nice to relax after swimming. It's better to take an umbrella if all the shady spots are occupied. Sunbeds, umbrellas and other infrastructure objects are on the hotels territories. They can't be rented. There are several restaurants and cafes on the beach.

In the vicinity of Thong Takian are several viewing platforms, which offer amazing views of the sea and the coast.

When is it better to go

The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
