Lipa Noi beach

The coastline is about 4.5 km long and stretches from the waterfront to the naval base. The beach is covered with fine yellow and grey sand with shells. Almost the entire length of the entrance to the sea is flat, in the center is steeper slope. The depth is felt at 50 m from the shore. The bottom is sandy, sometimes muddy, the water is unclean. Occasionally there are rocks and shells under the feet. There are areas with long shoal where collect locals with children.

Beach infrastructure is only in hotel areas. In other places, vacationers are given complete freedom of action. Visitors can sit on a towel under their own umbrella or in the shade of trees. People can have a snack in the beach bar, which is also offers beach equipment for rent. Kayaks and hydrocycles rental agencies work there.

The beach is almost empty. Privacy lovers, preferring secluded corners away from people, dominated among the vacationers. There are quite a lot of such places on the beach. In the central part and in hotels and private villas area are places for family holiday.

When is it better to go

The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
