Beach description

Agios Isidoros holds the honorary 7th place in the Top 10 Beaches in Greece and, of course, has the Blue flag award. Patches of pebbles alternate with soft golden sand, the water is emerald-colored and crystal clear. The beach is very clean, with garbage and seaweed constantly taken care of. Agios Isidoros has everything you need for some comfortable relaxation during the whole day which is why families with children like to come here.

The beach is equipped with free sunbeds and umbrellas, and tourists can use sun screen or hire a massagist. You can also find extra comfort zones with beach beds and canopies, as well as "wild" leisure spots which require you to have your own towel.

There are enough showers, changing rooms and restrooms for everyone. Smokers can use separate ashtrays.

Agios Isidoros is surrounded by picturesque mountains and boulders where you can swim underwater and fish. Sea urchins inhabit the area though, so don't forget your slippers.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
