Eftalou beach
It is located in the northern part of Lesvos at the foot of the mountain villages of Asomatos and Ayii Anargyri, three kilometers from Molivos. It is famous for its radon springs with numerous SPA centers around.

Beach description
This "wild" pebbly beach surrounded by rocks and boulders is a perfect place for those who like nature. You can dive, explore underwater rocks, watch underwater fauna, fish or just lay on the warm pebbles while enjoying the calmness. The infrastructure isn't well-developed which means you'll need to take care of everything you need beforehand. A small grove, located to the right of the beach, attracts tourists who want to hide from the sun in the shadows.
Descending into water might be difficult at times since the bottom is covered in stones, so don't forget slippers.
Eftalou is the so-called "Mecca for nudists", you can often see nudist visitors here. Take note of that if you plan to bring children.
Warm natural healing sources are a bonus of this beach. High radon concentration treats musculoskelatal system and cures many bone-related diseases.
Visitors can use this natural spa either on the beach itself or in the specialized pools located nearby. Please be careful, as thermal baths may also cause harm, so it's best to be under a doctor's supervision during your visit.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

Since it's not very convenient to get here, tourists prefer coming for several days and stay in the nearby hotels to forget about fuss and to enjoy healing springs, clear sea, and majestic sunsets, the most beautiful on Lesbos.
