Campo Antissa beach

Campo Antissa is considered to be one of the most secluded beaches on the Lesbosa island, where you can rest and fully relax, forgetting about your daily worries. It is not so crowded as the other popular beaches of Lesbos, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Antissa village is in two kilometers from the beach, the nearest infrastructure is located there. There are neither sunbeds nor umbrellas at Campo Antissa, so you will have to take care of the amenities yourself. But a complete merger with nature is ensured.

Light gray pebbles are mixed with sand on the coast, and the entrance to the water is gentle enough so that vacationing parents are not worried about the children of preschool age. Locals put a lot of efforts to clear the shore from silt, and this paid off: now it is clean, and you can see small fish in pristine clear water.

The beach can be reached by a taxi or a rented car from Antissa, the road will pleasantly delight you with its wonderful landscapes, fruit orchards and olive trees.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
